SSC MTS 2024 Vacancy
The number of vacancies for the SSC MTS 2024 exam has been officially released by the Staff Selection Commission. There are a total of 8,328 vacancies. Out of these, 4,887 positions are for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical), and 3,439 positions are for Havaldar in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN).

SSC MTS 2024 Exam Date
The exact date for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by SSC for the posts of MTS and Havaldar has not been announced yet. However, it is likely that the exam will take place in August 2024. The exam will consist of 90 multiple-choice questions, worth a total of 270 marks. Candidates will have a maximum of 90 minutes to complete all the questions.

SSC MTS Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for SSC MTS Notification consists of two stages.
- Multi Tasking Staff : Computer Based Test
- Havaldar : Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Standard Test (only for the post of Havaldar)
SSC MTS 2024 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who meet the cutoff for the computer-based examination will be invited to take the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by the Physical Standard Test (PST).
Walking Test:
- Male candidates: 1.6 km in 15 minutes.
- Female candidates: 1 km in 20 minutes.

SSC MTS 2024 Language for CBT
The SSC MTS Exam will be held in different languages. Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (also Meitei or Meithei), Marathi, Odia (Oriya), Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.
