OR 2) A Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as the medium of instruction and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. OR 3) A Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with both Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or with one of them as the medium of instruction and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. Additionally, the candidate should have a recognized diploma or certificate in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or at least two years of experience in translation work between Hindi and English in a Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertakings. |
| Senior Hindi Translator | 1) Hold a Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi, where English or Hindi is either a compulsory or elective subject, or where the medium of examination is in English or Hindi at the degree level. OR 2) Possess a Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, where the medium of instruction is in Hindi, and have either English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. AND 4) A diploma or certificate in translation, acknowledged by authorities, in both Hindi to English and vice versa, or a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government Office, which includes Government of India Undertakings. |
